Book 31: The Spark

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. It was a really easy to read book with an interesting narrator and interesting subject matter. I like the point she made about encouraging kids to do what they are interested in and it was interesting to see all the progress she made with other (non genius) children as well as her own. On the other hand, it was difficult to read about their financial situation since I feel like they were being really dumb about it. Also, she could have done a better job of talking about her other children. For a while I thought that maybe her second child had actually died since she stopped mentioning him but nope, he was still there and apparently still very sick but it didn’t seem worthy enough to be mentioned more than a few times.
