Books 61 & 62: Ashbury/Brookfield # 1 & 2

Book: Feeling Sorry of Celia and The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty
Source: borrowed ebook & already owned
Goal Progress: 61 & 62/100 books , 14/12 books I already own
Rating: 4/5, 3/5

Feeling Sorry for Celia was sooo adorable. I love epistolary novels. Elizabeth’s mom was a riot. I could have done without the weird notes from the societies but I thought this was a really cute story. I loved watching the friendship grow between Elizabeth and Christina.

I was a little less enamored with The Year of Secret Assignments. But I’m glad I finally read it because it’s been sitting on my shelf since high school! I thought there were a few too many POVs and I didn’t enjoy the story line as much.

Now if only I could find the last two books in this series…
