Book 26: Blue Lily, Lily Blue

Book: Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
Goal: 26
Rating: 5/5

This is probably my least favourite of the three, possibly because there wasn’t enough Gansey in it. Though, there are some moments as MS points out: …Gansey touches Blue’s fingers during this car ride and the narrative strongly urges you to consider this sexy, which is a demonstration of how little game any of these characters have. Later, Blue gets even friskier when she secretly calls Gansey so they can talk about Congress and faxes. This is not code. This is their relationship. A little further on, there’s also a sensual yogurt-eating paragraph.

I did really like Blue and her pages with Mr. Gray and Jesse Dittley, or should I say JESSE DITTLEY. Her conversations with him were just so adorable and he called her ANT!

Amber had some good thoughts.

I do love these series even more (was that possible?) after reading some of MS’s blog posts, like this one about the church scene with Adam and Ronan.

I’m now DYING to read The Raven King.
