Book 27: I’ll Meet You There

Book: I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios
Rating: 5/5

I don’t even know how to describe the love that I feel for this book. It’s so unassuming at first and then bam, before I know it, I’m fully obsessed and can’t stop thinking about this book. So much so that I can’t even read Windfall because I’m just reading it and thinking about how I wish I was reading I’ll Meet You There instead. Basically all of this.

Book 26: Fast Connection

Book: Fast Connection by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell
Rating: 3.5/5

I went into this book expecting the worst. I didn’t love the first book in this series and I very reluctantly pressed buy on this $1.33 ebook, but I’m glad that I did! I liked both Dominic and Luke, and their chemistry was spot on. There was maybe a bit too much family drama and the resolution of Dominic’s family issues was a little too neat and tidy for me. I wasn’t a big fan of the cameo appearances (am I ever?). I’m curious about the other two books in this series though so I might have to check them out.

Book 25: In A Perfect World

Book: In A Perfect World by Trish Doller
Rating: 2/5

I so wanted to like this book, but it fell really flat for me. There was too much going on and I didn’t care for any of the characters, what did Adam and Caroline see in each other that made them want to be together so badly? I just have no idea. There wasn’t enough depth to any of the story lines and had there been a focus on one or two things instead, I think this book would have been much better. Also, not a big fan of the ending.
