Book 5: A Court of Thorns and Roses

Book: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Mass
Rating: 3.5

It took a while to get into this book but once I finished it I couldn’t stop thinking about it and desperately wanted to read the second one so I’d say that’s a good sign! I felt pretty meh on Tamlin and really the only thing that kept me interested at all was Lucien and later on Rhys. Feyre grew on me throughout the book and I appreciated her inner monologue towards the end and how affected she was by events at the end of the book. Already half way through book 2!

Books 1 – 4

Book 1: I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios

I still absolutely love this. And honestly, I kind of just want to read this back to back over and over again. This and the Raven Cycle books.

Book 2: Something Real by Heather Demetrios

I seem to waffle back and forth every time I read this, I think I like it less than last time but still good. Benny remains my favourite part of the book.

Book 3: Famous in a Small Town by Emma Mills

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have picked this up to reread except I was ordering some other books and ordered it on a whim because I vaguely remembered liking it so it just happened to be front of mind. I’m so glad I read it again because I loved it even more, Emma Mills writes such good books about friendships. Forget about the boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, I’m just here for the part where they become friends. Rating bumped to 5/5!

Book 4: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Still loved this.

Book 23: After The Kiss

Book: After the Kiss by Lauren Layne
Rating: 3.5/5

I didn’t realize that I’ve never reread this book, that seems unlikely so maybe I just didn’t record it? I liked this less than I remember, I like Julie and Mitchell as characters but I didn’t enjoy the book quite as much as I remember. But, still one of the better Lauren Layne books!

Book 21: How Forever Feels

Book: How Forever Feels by Laura Drewry
Rating: 3/5

This actually turned out to be pretty cute!  Maya was less annoying than I was expecting and their relationship wasn’t all that weird since you kind of felt like her and her ex just didn’t belong together anyway. But the thing that actually annoyed me most was his job – isn’t there a whole writers room working on video game scripts?!
