Not bad per se, but I basically skim read the whole book so obviously not great either. I can’t place what I didn’t really like about it, I think there was just too much pondering about life from Elyse.  The whole Trinidad/Tobago stuff felt a little forced. But I did really enjoy the moments between her and Christian and Sebastian.

Well this just kept getting worse and worse. I really enjoyed the 1st book in this trilogy, it was fun and flirty and sexy and pretty well written. And it all went downhill after that. The Evan/Dallas issues were dumb. The house was kind of a fun idea. But the drama with Britain’s job was pretty dumb, too. And the third one just felt so forced. I basically skim read the whole third book and still found a ton of grammatical/spelling issues that I’m usually able to overlook. I’m glad that torture is over!

Maybe I’m just in a YA funk. I really wanted to love this book, and it was good, but I just wanted it to be a little bit deeper. I wasn’t drawn into it like I was expecting to be. I got a little emotional towards the end but I wanted to feel something more leading up to that point, too. More cute than anything.

I don’t know about this one. I can’t even really put into words how I feel about so I won’t even bother. But I might be the only person who doesn’t enjoy book cameos.

I was pretty underwhelmed by this book. It felt like it was written just for a young audience and it lacked any depth to make me really care about it. I didn’t really understand what the deal was with her and her friends and Jules trying to come between them. But I did like how that story line didn’t end with an everything-is-ok bow on top of it. It was like a less good The Art of Lainey – complete with quirky, yet adorable, younger sister.

This is a hard one. I did, overall, enjoy the book. But I have a hard time believing the Travis’ voice, it read as being very feminine. It feels like a well researched book and I think it’s refreshing to find a NA novel that’s a little bit more “real” than the typical YA/NA romance without all the annoying melodrama.
