Books 30-33

Book 30: Subtle Blood by K.J. Charles
Rating: 2.5/5

In comparison to the other two books, I found this pretty disappointing. I just didn’t click with the story and despite wrapping up their relationship future, I didn’t get quite as much chemistry from the relationship as the other books.

Book 31: The Gentle Art of Fortune Hunting by K.J. Charles
Rating: 4/5

I had such a fund time reading this, it was so cute and charming and I loved all the characters. Hoping for more KJ Charles regency romances!

Book 32: Mister Impossible by Maggie Stiefvater
Rating: 2/5

I was bored for almost all of this book. I liked Declan and Jordan but was massively disappointed by the lack of Adam. Curious to see how the third book comes together.

Book 33: The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
Rating: 4/5

This was absolutely lovely! It lost me at the very end with the Justin stuff but I loved pretty much everything else about it. How delightful. I really enjoyed Leon’s parts. I find often that split POVs all sound the same and I loved that Leon had a very distinct voice.
