I’m apparently the odd man out in my rating of this book. I did not enjoy this. I found Harold to be really dull and boring and his journey did not interest me. I did like Maureen though and wished there was more of her in the book. I expected the characters that he met on the road would have more of an impact on me but they were all very forgettable (except for the guy with the shoe fetish which was more just weird than anything else). Sad that I didn’t like this as much as everyone else, but I just thought that it could have been better.
